About

Paul Branan is currently the Advancement/Development Director (ADD… fitting isn’t it!) of Woodland Christian High School in Breslau. He lives in Kitchener with his wife and 4 children (3 of which are now teenagers!) He has been in middle school for most of his 19 year teaching career but recently graduated to high school in 2010! Paul sits on various boards and gives leadership advice to a variety of non-profits, Christian schools and churches. He has spoken at ACSI conferences, been both a youth pastor and transitional pastor in a number of churches, and is a passionate promoter of Christian Education! He plays golf, organ, and loves to talk (but has also learned the value of silence and listening).

The major contributors to his life and thought formation (in no particular order) include his elementary sunday school teacher (Mary Veltman), a surrogate grand mother (Grandma Hardy), his teacher’s college prof, friend, former principal (Joyce Baker), Jesus Christ (Self-explanatory, I hope!), his best friend since diapers (You know who you are…), his father (a grade eight graduate who is the most successful man he knows, although he never had the money to prove it) and his beautiful, forgiving, perseverant, always right wife Elisa!
